Firstly Wash and soak Chana dal for 4 hours.
*Drain the water completely and spread it on a cloth to air dry for an hour.
In a bowl mix all the masala's
Heat oil in a kadhai, Once the oil, is hot, reduce the heat to medium.
Now add a batch of dal into the oil using a stainless steel strainer.
Stir once you add, to prevent it from sticking together.
Fry on medium heat until the bubbling noise stops and the dal comes to the surface.
Remove from oil and place it on paper towels to absorb excess oil.
When it is warm, sprinkle the powder mixture and mix well.
Once it cools, store it in an airtight container.
